Ensuring a Safe and Positive Environment: Prohibited Projects in Indie Birds

At Indie Birds, we are committed to maintaining a safe and positive environment for our community. In order to uphold this commitment, we have established a set of guidelines that prohibit certain projects from being hosted on our platform. These guidelines ensure the protection of our backers and align with our core values of integrity and responsibility. Please familiarize yourself with the following list of prohibited projects:

  1. Illegal, Regulated, or Potentially Dangerous Projects:
    • Projects that are illegal, heavily regulated, or pose potential risks to backers are strictly prohibited.
    • Projects offering rewards that the creator did not make themselves are not allowed.
  2. Health and Medical Claims:
    • Any items claiming to diagnose, cure, treat, or prevent illnesses or conditions, regardless of the medium used (devices, apps, books, nutritional supplements, etc.), are not permitted.
  3. Contests, Coupons, Gambling, and Raffles:
    • Projects based on contests, coupons, gambling, or raffles are prohibited on Indie Birds.
  4. Energy Food and Drinks:
    • Projects involving energy food and drinks are not allowed.
  5. Offensive Material:
    • Projects promoting hate speech, encouraging violence against others, or containing offensive content are strictly prohibited.
  6. Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs):
    • Offering genetically modified organisms as rewards is not permitted.
  7. Live Animals:
    • Projects cannot include live animals as rewards.
  8. Alcohol:
    • Offering alcohol as a reward is prohibited.
  9. Financial, Credit, and Business Services:
    • Projects offering financial, money-processing, credit services, travel services, phone services, and business marketing services are not allowed.
  10. Political Fundraising:
    • Projects related to political fundraising are prohibited.
  11. Pornographic Material:
    • Projects containing explicit pornographic material are not permitted, except when directly related to art.
  12. Discrimination and Bigotry:
    • Projects promoting discrimination, bigotry, or intolerance towards marginalized groups are strictly prohibited.
  13. Repackaged or Duplicate Projects:
    • Projects that merely repackage or share existing products without adding anything new or innovative are not allowed.
  14. Resale:
    • Rewards must be produced or designed by the project or its creators and cannot consist of resold items.
  15. Drugs, Nicotine, Tobacco, Vaporizers, and Weapons:
    • Projects involving drugs, nicotine, tobacco, vaporizers, weapons, replicas of weapons, or weapon accessories are prohibited.
  16. Jurisdiction:
    • All projects hosted on Indie Birds are subject to the jurisdiction of Hyderabad.

It is important to note that if your project involves something that may be considered illegal, heavily regulated, or potentially dangerous for backers, and it is not specifically mentioned in this list, we urge you to reach out to us before initiating your campaign.
